Little or no work experience? Make your CV look great!

Good tips for the start of 2015!

THE JOB SEARCHING EXPERT

Parrt time working

So we are now into the New Year, some of you will be starting to think about applying to
college, University or your very first graduate job.

This isn’t as hard as you think, you just need to be clever with the way you write.
You need to use all the experience you do have and make it relevant.

For example when I was applying for my first role in HR, I only had hospitality experience from restaurants, bars and hotels. Even though this isn’t directly relevant I was able to use the
experience and skills from hospitality and apply them to the requirements for HR. Some of which I have discussed in more detail below.

Whether in a restaurant or a shop, this…

Jobchange donate clothes to Barnardo’s Charity!

At Jobchange we always like to support interesting charities and raise awareness about them, that’s why we couldn’t resist to start a new social media campaign and spread a little bit of festive spirit among other organisations!

We asked our staff to check their wardrobes, their drawers and their garages and look for some clothes they may not necessarily need anymore.

Then we gathered all clothes in our office, took a picture together and nominated 3 other organisations which we think will be willing to join the fun. That is why we nominated our friends from KIC FM, WCR FM and YMCA to collect some of their clothes, take a similar picture, choose a charity shop, donate and nominate more organisations!

Finally, we delivered bags filled with our clothes to the Barnardo’s Charity Shop on Lichfield Street in Wolverhampton!

We hope you’re going to join the fun with us!
